He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Longe and Verna Mae Longe (Korth); his wife Beverly J. Maple; his brother Ted Longe; his siblings-in-law, Arlene Longe and Merlyn Maple; and his in-laws, Gerald and Norma Maple.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Longe (Kris Tabbert) of Orchard, NE, Dustin Longe (Amber) of Mitchell, Mikel Longe (Kimberly) of Bonesteel, SD, William "BJ" Longe (Kristine) of Bridgewater, SD and Crissy Longe of Marion, SD; his grandchildren, Lorenzo Longe (Kaitlyn), Reno Longe, Jaiden Longe, Shaylee Longe, Braxton Longe (Gabrielle), Shania Longe, Karson Longe, Paige Longe, Ethan Longe and Kameron Longe; his great grandchild Huntley Longe; his siblings, Don Longe (Judy), Dave Longe (Melodie), Linda Mickel, Lori Bebee (Brian), Lila Loewe (Virgil), Leann Schaeffer (Tim) and Laraine Anderson (Jim); and his sister-in-law Joan Maple.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (205 N 4th Ave, Lake Andes, SD 57356). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
