He is survived by: his children, Michelle Janis of Georgetown, SD, Tiffany Janis of Kyle, SD, Jeffrey Janis, Jr. of Georgetown, SD, Stephanie Janis and Justin Janis of Georgetown, SD; his siblings, James Janis of Rapid City, SD, Arthur Janis of Pocatello, ID, Keith Janis (Jennifer) of Kyle, SD, Darwin Janis of Rapid City, SD, Stanley Janis of Rapid City, SD, Lamont Janis of Rapid City, SD, Cora Chapman (Mike) of Rapid City, SD, Maxine Flores of Rapid City, SD and Arlene Broken Rope of Mission, SD; and his grandchildren, Ptanyetu Hehaka Zephier, Marshawn C. Wohpe, Terry Bull, Matthew High Bull, Kyan Horse, Shawntay Fast Horse, Payton Garrett, Gage Garrett, Sky Janis, River Byington, Calvin Red Owl IV, Lucius Red Owl and James W. Janis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
