He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sherman and Alice Sherman (Kemery); his children, Benny Sherman, Jr., Brian Sherman, Sr., Joy Sherman and Shiloh White; and his brother Charles Sherman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Sherman and Edie Sherman; and his grandchildren, Ryan Sherman, Darshann Mesteth, Dana Stoldt, Brian Sherman, Jr., Samuel Swanson, Arianne Dowty, Danielle Arpan, Philip Pond, Leslie Pond, Marlena Pond and Samantha Pond.
