He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lenz (Toupal) and Paul Lenz; his grandparents, Helen, Harry Toupal, Philip and Mary Lenz; and his pets, Rudy and Hank.
He is survived by: his son John Paul Jr.; his wife Ann (Prickett); his children, Vincent, Harry and Emma; his siblings, Joe, Amber Lenz (Caden), Phil, Kari Lenz (Kylie) and Mary P Lenz; his parents-in-law, Jeff and Connie Prickett; his brother-in-law John (Rochelle Prickett); and also, Kilo, Zeke and Gustavson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the St Margaret's Catholic Church (417 S Elm St, Kimball, SD 57355). A wake was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Margaret's Catholic Cemetery (417 S Elm St, Kimball, SD 57355).
In lieu of flowers, an account has been established at First Dakota bank to receive memorial contributions for John and Ann's children.
