She is survived by: her husband Perry Hempel of Kimball, SD; her children, Kelli Nelson (Jeff) of Kimball, SD, Perry Hempel (Falyn) of Faulkton, SD, Alan Hempel (Jamie Mashek) of Rapid City, SD and Alesha Glenn (James) of Sioux Falls, SD; her siblings, Robert Koranda (Nancy) of Kimball, SD, Larry Koranda (Pat) of Fort Worth, TX, Tom Koranda (Sandy) of Colman, SD, Marlene Koranda of Las Vegas, NV, Marlys Schlichting of Kimball, SD and Sandra Westendorf (Edwin) of Detroit Lakes, MN; her grandchildren, Javan Heath (Preston Norgaard), Easton, Grady Nelson, Michael, Tre, Hoyt Hempel, Grace and Clara Glenn; and her great grandchildren, Addison Wingert-Hempel, Scarlett and River Norgaard.
