She was predeceased by: her husband Ervin Petula; her parents, Frank Helma and Teresie Helma; her siblings, Libbie Armstrong (Howard), Otto Helma, Robert Helma (Myrlene), Allen Helma (Alice) and Leonard Helma; her parent-in-law John Petula; her sisters-in-law, Alma Stuntebeck and Gladys Fuegen; and also Emma Petula.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Dolores Helma of Bismarck, ND.
