He is survived by: his uncle Ralph Arends; his children, Julie Anderson (Dean) of Box Elder, SD, Dorothy Kuipers (Bob) of Tyndall, SD, James Herrlein of Rapid City, SD, David Herrlein (Tabitha) of Parkston, SD, Kenneth Herrlein of Platte, SD, Mary Nelson (Doug) of Alexandria, SD and Matthew Herrlein of Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister Janet Docksteader. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
