It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hal Butts of Keystone, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederic Watson Butts and Anna Wilhemina Butts (Cofoid). He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Brett Butts (Leda); his grandson Joshua; his son Brian Butts (Tina); his granddaughter Bailey; his daughter Jodi Edgar (Matt); his grandchildren, Heidi and Jeffrey; his sister Judith Strain of Missoula, MT; his niece Jolene Tatum of Missoula, MT; and his nephew Jim Strain of Billings, MT.
