He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Thomas and Helen Thomas (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Sherie Hall (Philip), Linda Whitney (Buzz) and Kevin Thomas (Janelyn); his grandchildren, Scott, Colton, Kristen, Kelsey and Bodie; his great grandchildren, Devon, Hailey, Dylan, Fiona, Norah, Delilah, Theodore and Liv; and his brother Duane.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kennebec Fire Department.
