He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his great grandchild Jaylee Dae Coller; his son Fred Pettyjohn; and his sister Nona Prang. He is survived by: his children, Ted Pettyjohn (Laurie), Zane Pettyjohn (Sharri), Brenda Pettyjohn and Jana Eich; and his siblings, Dale Pettyjohn and Kay Pettyjohn.
