He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Hedeen; his parents, Richard Olney (Dick) and Marie Olney; his brother Robert Olney (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Dode Smith, Barbara Stone, Ethel Anderson, Norma Olney, Gladys Olney, Clifford Starkjohn, Gene Stone and Gordon Paulson.
He is survived by: his children, Marcy Ramsey (Bart) and Rusty Olney (Laure Hildebrand); his grandchildren, Cara (Brook) and Chad Ramsey (Paulette); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Caden and Wyatt; his children, Charlee Ramsey, Jerica Muzick (Danny), Jadyn, Jyntre, Jyrzee Coller, Audrea and Lucien Hildebrand; his great great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Nash Muzik; his siblings, Diane Paulson and Richard Olney (Bud); and his brother-in-law Andy Anderson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Kadoka Nursing Home.
