Rita Barber Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2024, Rita Barber of Kadoka, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Lange and Agnes Lange (McEwen); her siblings, Loretta White (Dick), Larry Lange, Mary Lou Grimes (Lornce), Gary Lange, Shirley Gartner (Terry) and Linda Thomas; and her in-laws, Dale and Vina Barber.
She is survived by: her husband Barry Barber; her sons, Kevin Barber (Colleen) and Wayne Barber (DeeAnn); her grandsons, Jesse (Andrea), Kyle and Bryan; her great grandchild Jace; her sister Carol Wickstrom; and her sister-in-law Rita Sutton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (600 Maple St, Kadoka, SD 57543). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
