It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda L. Hawkenson of Jefferson, South Dakota, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Linda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Beavers and Leona Beavers (Elsasser); her husband Art; her friend Eugene Rush; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Bradshaw.
She is survived by: her sons, Barry Bradshaw (Bonnie), Bart Bradshaw (Michelle) and Robert Bradshaw; her siblings, Jack Beavers (Sheila), Avis Hasson (Don) and Cheryl Gates (Pat); and her grandsons, Adam Bradshaw and Nicholas Bradshaw (Kaia Sueker).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel (6200 Morningside Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106).
