With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Julie A. Whitlock of Jefferson, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Robert McGuire (Bob); her siblings, Joe McGuire (Mac), Sue Lulf and Robert McGuire (Bobby); her fathers-in-law, Harold and Leon Whitlock; her siblings-in-law, Nancy Whitlock and Harold Wickey; and her granddaughter Veronica Trometer.
She is survived by: her mother Florence McGuire; her nieces and nephews, Mac and Murph; her husband Larry Whitlock of Jefferson; her children, Cody (Shelby Borgers) and Courtney Trometer (Cody); her grandchildren, Hailee and Michael; her sisters, Barb Shadbolt (Gary) and Mady Johannsen (Rory); and her siblings-in-law, John Lulf, Marvin Whitlock (Jane), Gary Whitlock, Sherry McGuire, Delores Soule, Donna Whitlock, Janet Delperdang and Sandy Whitlock. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (400 Main St, Jefferson, SD 57038). A prayer was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
