She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rysta and Violet Rysta (Lund); her husband Michael "Dale" Rabbitt; and her siblings, Orville, Richard and Carolyn.

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Dan Rabbitt (Angie) of Jefferson, SD and Jeff Rabbitt (Lori); her sister Ruth Rysta of Sioux City, IA; her brother-in-law Don Rabbitt (Janet) of Fond; her grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Rystan and Kayah; and her great grandchild Makai.
