She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisabeth Hofer Pollman and Jacob J. Pollman; her daughter Carol Ann; her grandson Chris Engman; her brothers, Andrew and Gerhart Pollman; her nephew John Pollman; and her husband Burdette Engman.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Martha) and Paul (Marsha); her grandson Brad Engman (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Jacob Abels, Benjamin Engman, Lucy Woodrome, Elliot Woodrome, Simon Woodrome, Daniel Gaona and Donna Galvan; and her niece Mary Zimmerman.
