He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Haffner and Elsie Haffner (Hansen); his grandparents, John and Mary Haffner (Schaeffer); his children, Lyle, Angus, J. Scott Haffner (Deb) of South Windsor, CT, Jim Haffner (Toni) of Bemidji, MN, Debbie Brue (Duane) of Yankton, SD and Renae Church (Loyd) of Council Bluffs, IA; his brother Chuck Haffner (Jane) of Yankton, SD.; and his wife Betty Haffner. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
