With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Damon Dale Jorgensen of Irene, South Dakota, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jorgen (Chris) and Lena Jorgensen (Volden); his wife Audrey Bratberg; his daughters, Jolene Dempster, Kristie Lyngstad (Larry) of Volin, SD and Coralee Jorgensen of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandchildren, Kara Spieler (Jeff), Jenna Lyngstad (Dustin Torguson), Kayla Metzger (Matt), Leah Miles (Geoff) and Andrew Dempster (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Ty, Lance, Cole Spieler, Tucker, Tanner Lyngstad, Charles, Damon Metzger, Leo Miles and Greyson Dempster; his stepgrandchildren, Payton, Caden, Maddox Metzger and Rylie Torguson; his siblings, Myrtis Kaarup of Tea, SD and Milton Jorgensen of Luverne, MN; his sisters-in-law, Bertha Kaiser and Marilyn Hagerty (Robert) of Omaha, NE; his brother Virgil; and his grandchildren, Leslie, DeLila, Eugene, Pauline, Merlin, Adeline, Allen, Donald and Janice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Calvary Lutheran Church or Midwest Honor Flight.
