He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Brockmueller and Marie Brockmueller; and his brothers-in-law, Ron McKenna and Erlin Bak. He is survived by: his spouse Leone Bak; his children, Karmen Broer and Mark Brockmueller; his grandchildren, Taliyah Broer and Brim Brockmueller; and his siblings, Helen McKenna, Los Gatos, Betty Zappa (Jerry) and John Brockmueller (Janelle) of Irene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Irene First Responders or Irene Fire Department.
