He was predeceased by: his parents, John Geditz and Bettie Geditz (Steen); his brothers, John Edward Geditz and Ed Geditz; and his nephew Dana Hammrich.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Geditz (Jill), Jesse Geditz, Amy Stevahn (Mike), Sara Unser (Jamie), Wyatt Geditz and Whitney Geditz; and his siblings, Jim Geditz, Nancy Hammrich (Franklin), Bettie Ellwein (Larry) and Inez Hatle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
