He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Olson and Lavonne Olson (Oais); his daughter Tammy Bergman; his siblings, Richard Olson, Peggy Trammell, Nancy Olson and Pat Olson; and his granddaughter Kayla Pederson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Olson; his sons, Mitchell Olson (Susan) of Lansing Michigan, Michael Olson (Robyn) of Mobridge and John Scarrott (Renee) of Leola; and his brothers, Larry Olson (Sue) of Ipswich and D. Mike Olson (Donna) of Aberdeen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
