With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia L Olson of Ipswich, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Patricia departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Patricia. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Peterson and Francis Peterson; her husband Robert Olson; her daughter Tammy Bergman (Olson); and her granddaughter Kayla Pedersen.

She is survived by: her sons, Mitchell (Susan) of Lansing, Michael (Robyn) of Mobridge and John Scarrott (Renee) of Leola.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schriver Funeral Home (720 6th St, Ipswich, SD 57451). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Richland Church (36781 142nd St, Mina, SD 57451).
