It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin J. Hammrich (Ipswich, South Dakota), who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hammrich and Marion Hammrich (Tuscher); his son Dana Hammrich; and his siblings, Ernest (Pauline Hammrich), Caroline (John Armstrong), Sally (Johnny Heilman), Dorothy (Leonard Gisi), Rita (Elton Herman), Vernon Hammrich, Florence Hammrich and Martin Hammrich.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Geditz of Ipswich; his daughter Marion; his son-in-law Jay Heintzman; his granddaughter Bailey of Ipswich; his siblings, Marion Peterson (Gilbert) of Longmont, CO, Eugene Hammrich (Norma) and Helenmae Hammrich of Aberdeen; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Ellwein (Larry), Inez Hatley, J. W. Geditz of Washington and Mary Geditz (late Joe).
