Beverly A. Burgod Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly A. Burgod of Ipswich, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Oban and Esther Oban (Walton); her husband Lawrence "Larry" Burgod; her son Richard Burgod (Rick); her grandson David Burgod; and her siblings, LaDonna Patnode, Shirley DeMinck, Virgil Oban, Dwaine Oban and Thomas Oban.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Burgod, Paula Torrence (Jim) and Keith Burgod (Julie); her daughter-in-law Gay Burgod; her grandchildren, Jason Torrence (Geri), Justin Burgod (Jamie Hanson), Nathan Burgod (Raeanne Frye), Patrick Torrence (Maria), Michael Torrence (Erica), Courtney Burgod, Tracy Burgod (Lexy) and Joshua Burgod (Miranda Hanson); her great grandchildren, Bella Torrence, Maddie Torrence, Charlotte Torrence, Olivia Hanson, Eila Burgod, Marley Burgod, Kinley Torrence, Jayde Torrence and Adalyn Burgod; and her sisters-in-law, Bernice Oban, Charollette Zorn, Marie Burgod and Bernie Henderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home (1111 S Main St, Aberdeen, SD 57401). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (20 6th St, Ipswich, SD 57451).
