She was predeceased by: her parent Link; her husband Elijah Whirlwind; her parent Fussy; her children, Kevin, Diana, Sally Ann and Wilma; and her grandsons, Clay, Robert and Alan.
She is survived by: her children, Judy, Carmen (Sam), Jonnie (Monica), Lisa (Allen), Mia, Lia and Merti. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Mae requests donations to cancer research.
