He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Kahre and Gertrude Kahre (Scheibe); his wife Geraldine Jungemann; his brother Lester Kahre; his parents-in-law, Harry, Hazel Haeder, Gerhardt Jungemann and Harley Jungemann; his nephew Dennis Haeder; and his niece Lavonne Luellman.
He is survived by: his children, Karla Mitzel (Mike) of Rapid City, Tammi Wilczek (Joel) of Fort Ripley, MN and Kurt Kahre (Gwen) of Watertown; his grandchildren, Keenan (Nicole), Kasha (Ashley), Maggi, Ted (Maria), Charlie (Daniela), Frank, Leo, Jackson and Alex; his sister Eileen Waldner (Larry) of Huron; and his sisters-in-law, Corinne Kahre and Lorraine Jungemann. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mt. Calvary Church.
