With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tony Arteman of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Arteman; his grandparents, Forest, Pearl Ward, Mayme and Edwin Arteman; and his mother-in-law Donna Pietz.
He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Arteman (Ward) of Huron; his wife Brenda Pietz of Huron; his children, Emily Arteman (Shawn Kuhnel) of Sioux Falls and Andrew "Drew" Arteman of Mankato, MN; his sisters, Mary Zwieg (Scott) of Indio, CA and Shawna Blasing (Mike) of Glen Ellen, CA.; his siblings-in-law, Russell Pietz (Ginger) of Aberdeen, Marcia Solie (Joel) of Morgan, MN and Brian Pietz (Michelle) of Lester Prairie, MN; his nieces and nephews, Zachary Zwieg (Lindsey), Courtney Zwieg (Lloyd), Zane Zwieg, Katie Blasing, Lucas Blasing, Jason Heiling (Samantha), Laura Zimmer (Chris), Marcus Heiling (Lexi), Mallory Verdoes (Kyle), Matt Pietz, Bailey Pietz, Abigail Pietz and Riley Pietz; his father-in-law Milo Pietz of Huron; and his uncle Clint Ward.
