It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Timothy McAloon of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Timothy leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Timothy may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, John McAloon and Grace McAloon (Honrath); his daughters, Nicole McAloon of Sioux Falls, SD and Alissa McAloon (Robert Russell) of Sioux Falls, SD; his brother Todd McAloon (Shelly McAloon) of Eden Prairie, MN; his nieces, Laura Todd (Dillion) and Crystal Overby (Don); and his nephew Michael McAloon (Adri).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish (425 21st St SW, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the St. Martin Cemetery.
