He is survived by: his mother Darleen Ames (Stam); his wife Debra Baysinger of Huron; his children, Sunshine Lenning-Keefe (Dale) of Huron, Breeze Lenning (Chad Vaughn) of Missouri and Zachariah Lenning of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Paytyn Lenning, Layla Lenning, Harley Lenning and Kameron Lenning; and his siblings, Jill Minske (Kevin) of Huron and Martin Ames.
