The passing of Susan Demmers of Huron, South Dakota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 79. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Rossman and Virginia Rossman (Kittleson); her husband Donald Demmers; her great-nephew Clifford Dale Chasing Hawk; and also, Joseph and Evelyn Demmers.
She is survived by: her pet Highway; her siblings, James Rossman (Giovanna) of Monterey, CA and Margaret Oechsle (Dale) of Hitchcock, SD; her niece Sandra Chasing Hawk (Todd); her nephews, Philip Oechsle (Jodi), Steven Oechsle (Megan Martin) and Jon Oechsle (Lori); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Wade, Kelsey, Tyler, Briana, Shandi, Payton, Jaidyn, Tana, Micah, Janica, Makayla and Alayna; and also, Kip, Elijah, Kora, Callaway and Maryann.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations.
