He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Lee and Bernadette Frieda Burger (Stappler); his grandparents, Edmund, Frieda Dewald, Fred Burger, Rueben Weidmeier and Luella Weidmeier; his brother-in-law Wayne Sorenson; his mother-in-law Mavis Flattum; and his pet Ottis.
He is survived by: his grandchild Karissa; his wife Traci Hiles; his sisters, Mishel Burger and Stephanie Burger; his half-brother Kevin Stappler; his children, Korey Papke, Karissa Papke, Jason Hiles, Adam Hiles and Aaron King; his grandchildren, Noel, Cooper, Marley, Serenity, Quest, Leo, Kingston, Elijah, Silas, Alexis, Adrian, Kyler, Alice, Leon, Olivier and Walter; and his pet Zoey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, Traci's extended family.
