She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schmidt and Mary Schmidt (Haines); and her brother John Schmidt. She is survived by: her former husband Dick Quam; her stepchildren, Jeff Quam (Jana), Christie Case, Julie Buss and Dan Quam (Stacy); her husband Roger Tarbox; her grandchildren, Katie Bovee (Adam), Christoffer Hanson (Amanda), Zach Quam (Hailey), Jordan Quam (Jade), Michael Case, Lexi Quam, Adam Buss, Joshua Case, Steven Buss, Leah Quam and Nicholas Case; her great grandchildren, Hannah Whitmer, Nola Leathers, Logan Welding, Silas Bovee, Evelyn Bovee, Holly Callaghan and Keynai Quam; and her cousin Sandy. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Huron Regional Medical Center Foundation.
