He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dwain and LaVila (Brenner); his wife Lori Schelske of Huron; his pet Fluffy; his sons, Parker Hook (Adrienne Malchow) of Sioux Falls and Jackson Hook of Huron; his brother Dennis Hook (Sandy) of Pierre; and also, Sandy Meylor (Curt) of Lake Poinsett, John Schelske (Deb) of Scottsdale, Tonya Ciriacks (Jim) of West Bend, Nancy Fischer (Tom) of Huron, Randy Schelske (Sue) of Virgil, Mark Schelske (Linda) of Virgil and Jean Scheel (Dennis) of Wessington Springs.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kuhler Funeral Home (1360 Dakota Ave S, Huron, SD 57350-3660). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
