He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ellingsen; his sons, Richard Mittelstedt (Jolene) of Watertown, SD and Rodney (Erica); his grandchildren, Adeline, Nicholas and Kiersten Mittelstedt; his brothers, Dennis Mittelstedt (Sharon) of Chandler, AZ and Lauren Mittelstedt of Huron, SD; his aunts, Violet Thurston of Oregon and Loreta Brown of Newberg, OR; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Mittelstedt of Chamberlain, SD, Rosie Harrington (Gary) of Huron, SD, Alice Harrington of Mitchell, SD and John Ellingsen (Bonnie) of Spearfish, SD. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
