It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl E. Hofer (Huron, South Dakota), born in Carpenter, South Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike B. Hofer and Anna Hofer (Gross); her sisters, Florence and Elvira; and her brothers-in-law, George Glanzer, Sam E. Walter and Ruben Hofer.
She is survived by: her spouse Melvin A. Hofer; her daughter Sherry Swanson; her son-in-law Richard Swanson of Huron; her niece Vicky Walter of Sioux Falls; and her sister Winnie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
