She was predeceased by: her parents, John K. Bennett and Elda Ruth Bennett (Conrad); her siblings, Gene Kenneth Bennett, John Eldon Bennett (Catherine) and Ella Virginia Weber; her brothers-in-law, Don Barton, Glenn Lashwood and Hal Weber; her husband Lyle Kearney; and her nephew John Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Roxan Bixler (Gregory) of Huron and Randall (LaVonne Kjelden) of Sioux Falls; her grandchildren, Zane Bixler (Lyza), Jacob Bixler (Jessica), Rebecca Gilbert (Scott), Danielle Vis and Joseph Kearney; and her sister Jessie Barton of Huron.
