He is survived by: his mother Cheryl Koester; his daughter Taylor Deering of Lake Tahoe, NV; his siblings, Albert Koester (Jill) of Williamsburg, MI, Brian Koester (Stacie) of Huron and Michele Koester (Ronnie Lee) of Sisseton; his uncle Allan Phillips (Donna) of Colman, SD; his aunt Janice Werdin (Randy) of Sioux Falls; and also Don Schmidt of Huron. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends.
