It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Wallenstein of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Pahne and Anna Pahne (Julius); her husband Richard Wallenstein; her son Richard (Dick); her brother Robert; her daughter Julie; her great grandchild Sanden Voorhees; her granddaughter Cally Anne Wallenstein; and her daughters-in-law, Kelly, Sally and Nancy Wallenstein.
She is survived by: her children, Leanne Voorhees (Roger) of Huron, Renee Pownell (Darrell) of Watertown, Ron Wallenstein (Nancy) of Huron, Rodney Wallenstein (Nikkie) of Wyoming, Michael Wallenstein of Huron and David Wallenstein of Sisseton. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
