She is survived by: her spouse George F. Merkel; her children, Karla Wells (Dave) of Loveland, CO and David Merkel (Carrie) of Billings, MT; her grandchildren, Christopher, Curtis, Kristina Wells, Brooke and Tyler Merkel; her stepgrandchildren, Lori and Travis; her great grandchildren, Kaylynn, Jorianna and Charlottie Wells; and her sister-in-law Mary Jane Oster.
