He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph and Gertrude (Schnathorst); his wife Billie; and his stepmother Vivian Ulrich. He is survived by: his stepson Scott; his daughter Tara Nero; his grandson Vinny; his siblings, Melanie Kludt of Cavour, SD, Don Ulrich (Marvalee) of Iroquois, SD and Rod Ulrich (Sandra) of Howard, SD.; his stepsiblings, Ronnie, Darrel Schmidt and Glenda Schmidt; and his mothers-in-law, Marlene and Pauline Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
