It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyman Nelson of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Nelson and Esther Nelson (Gregory); his wife Lorraine Anderson; his stepfather Sam Wipf; and his brothers, Raymond Wipf, James Wipf and Ronald Nelson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Fleischhacker and Jennifer Stigge (Jason) of Huron; his grandchildren, Avarey Beals, Cullen Beals (Cassie Valer), Nicolas Fleischhacker and Sarah Beals; and his great grandchild Katerina Gonzalez.
