He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Christensen and Clara Christensen (Muncy); his siblings, Leonard Christensen (Judy) of Carpenter and Joyce Holt (Peter) of Kansas; and his brother-in-law Ernie Geyer.
He is survived by: his close friend Rose Gibson of Huron; his sister Beverly Geyer of Bancroft; his sons, Wayne Christensen of Laramie and Joe Christensen of Sioux Falls; and his aunt Lois McMillan of Huron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
