It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luvie L. Hooks (Huron, South Dakota), who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Williams and Dorothy Williams; her husband James Hooks; her siblings, Eunice Cal, Shirley, Robert, Calvin, Ricky, Vertis and Jimmy; and her sister-in-law Wanda Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Zenia Lanier of Huron, SD; her grandchildren, Michael Williams of Huron, Kim Hooks (Kelly) of Maple Valley, WA, Lorenzo Williams (Arynne) of Huron, Gordon Hooks (Kelli) of Huron, Leondis, Luvie, Marquita, Latavia, Zaniyah, Addysen, Brianna, Isian, Julius, LadyShimaray, Larenzo, Jr., Lynden, Lean, Hayden, Brevan, Kenli, Davonte', Lewis, Makiya, Leyonna, Sincere, Jermaine, Jamari, D'Avione, D'Andre, Armaryanna and Chandler; her siblings, Dorothy McCain, Daisy Murray (L. C.), Roosevelt of Theodore, JR and Ivory Williams (Marvin); and her sister-in-law Pearline. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
