He is survived by: his wife Sandy Atkins; his daughter Kristy Rice (Ron); his grandchildren, Samantha Knopp, Ashley Wensing (Beau) and Adam Ronke; his great grandchildren, Isabelle Knopp and James Wensing; his siblings, Jim Atkins (Edie), Lois Houck (Don), Margaret North, Cecil Atkins and Bonnie Petersen (Doug); and his sister-in-law Marge Atkins.
