He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Kozel and Opal Kozel (Ellison); his former wife Shirley Groves; and his spouse Drelda Tyler. He is survived by: his children, Mark Royal, Gayle Elaine and Corey; his stepsons, Jeff (Mary Tyler), Greg (Melinda Tyler), Barry (Katrina Tyler) and Cory (Marilea Tyler); his grandchildren, Kirby (Amy Kozel), Crystal (Jason Cabral), Heidi (Jason Parker) and Brian (Cathleen Paredes); and his stepgrandchildren, Jessica (Rob Lokhorst), Chelsey (Jon Altena), Michael Tyler, Asa Tyler, Stoney Tyler, Abbey Musick (Jon), Jackson Tyler and Shelby Tyler. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
