He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Mattke and Arthur Mattke; his siblings, Leonard Mattke and Phyllis Modine; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Mattke and Harold Modine.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Theresa; his wife Fern Marie Mattke; his children, Roger Mattke (Natalie) of Lafayette, LA, Craig Mattke (Kathy) of Smithville, MO, David Mattke of Huron and Theresa Clements (Brian) of Loveland, CO.; his grandchildren, Tara Bigalke (Ben), Dustin Mattke, Tyler Mattke (Jamie Kleinsasser), Kylie Krug (Jeremy), Myranda Holtrop (Schuyler), Tessa Mattke (Kevin Castrinos), Katlin Mattke (David Hopkins), Emma Clements, Hannah Mattke, Aidan Clements and Kimbella Clements; and his brother Jim Mattke (Karen). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Beadle County 4-H, American Lutheran Church, ALC Christian Learning Center, HRMC Hospice, or charity of your choice.
