He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin James and Gladys Montgomery (Crouch); his son Michael Montgomery; his great grandchild Josh Montgomery; and his siblings, Wayne Montgomery (Millijean) and Marcella Thompson (Philip).
He is survived by: his wife Marita Montgomery (King); his children, Ann Montgomery of Wessington Springs, Keith Baird Montgomery (Julie) of Superior, WI, Beth Wahl (Mark) of Huron and Jean Montgomery Della Rocco of Huron; and his grandchildren, Joshua Montgomery (Michelle), Erin Montgomery, Laura Montgomery, Keith Montgomery III, Adam Wahl (Sarah), Anthony Wahl (Megan DeBoer), Amanda Smith (Mark), Antonia Della Rocco (Alex) and Angelina Graffunder (Jae). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
