It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Peck of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Oscar and Ida Ringheimer (Lundquist); her husband Jack Peck; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Peck, Jim Peck and Donna Koeck.
She is survived by: her son Michael Carroll (Debra) of Huron; her grandsons, Drew Carroll (Colleen) of Mitchell and Devon Carroll (Madi Marohl) of Parker; her great grandchild Finley Carroll; her grandson Travis Peck (Janet) of Huron; her great grandchildren, Taylor Peck of Rochester, MN, Jackson Peck of Huron and Vienna Peck (Terence Peck); her sister Marvis McClure (Terry); her sister-in-law Shirley Peck of Mesa, AZ; her friends, DeAnn Christensen of Huron, Wyann Tebay (Delayne) of Huron and Lealda Higgins of Huron; her nieces, Brenda Bishop (James) and Kathy Meyer (Kyle); her nephew Robert McClure; and also, Traiton Peck (Andi) of Brandon and Tanner Peck of Warner.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home (267 3rd St SE, Huron, SD 57350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
