She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Hinkle and Bergit Hinkle (Maginnis); her parents-in-law, Ed and Em Ferris; her brothers-in-law, George Kennedy and Swede Weber; her nephew Jerry Hinkle; and her friend Doug Canode.
She is survived by: her husband Ken Ferris of Huron, SD; her daughter Sandy Soulek (Mike); her siblings, Harold Hinkle (Mary) of Holabird, SD, Mavis Kennedy of Upton and Mike Ferris (Gail) of Pierre, SD; her sister-in-law Myrna Weber of Dickenson, ND; her grandchildren, Adam Soulek (Mercedes Garcia) of Richland, WA, Alex Soulek (Taylor) of Sumrall, MS and Kyle Ferris of Herndon, VA; her great grandchildren, Axel, Sawyer and Everlie Soulek of Sumrall, MS; and her friend Grace Heckenlaible. She is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Asera Care Hospice in her name.
