It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua J. Trandall of Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Robert, Marie Trandall, Charles and Florence Isackson; and his uncles, Charles "Stack" Isackson, Jr. and David Isackson.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Trandall of Huron and Helen Trandall (Isackson) of Huron; his children, Jackson and Abigail (Huron); his wife Marianne; his sister Callie Brown (Jamie) of Otsego, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Rylan, Carter, Auden, David, Evie and Lila. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
During his collegiate career at Northern, he was invited to participate on an international level to compete against European track athletes, he was a 16-time conference champion, and he was eventually inducted into the NSU Athletic Hall of Fame for his contributions to the track program.
